Nicole Michel, RN, BSN

Nicole has been a dedicated employee with St. James for over 13 years. She began her career at St. James as a CNA in 2009, during her time as a CNA, she discovered her passion in patient and medical care. In addition, her mother was her inspiration, since she also worked at St. James, as a nurse manager on unit 1 North. This led Nicole to pursue her dream and go to Kaplan University to earn her bachelor's degree in Nursing. In 2013, she became an RN and the nurse manager of unit 2 South. Over the years, her passion and dedication led her to many capacities such as LVAD/Cardiac care, MDS, Assistant Director of Nursing and now as the Director of Nursing. She has a strong foundation in communication, medical, and emotional care. Nicole is a firm believer in teamwork and excellent communication. Outside of her time at St. James, she cherishes her time with her family, reading and going to concerts.
