Amber Mascioli, LMSW

Amber received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Dowling College, a Masters in Social Work from Long Island University, and a Certificate in Forensic Social Work from Long Island University. Amber began her career at St. James Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center as an intern, during her time in graduate school for social work. During the internship, she discovered her passion for medical social work and working with the geriatric population. After graduating with her master's degree, she began working as a Case Manager. In August 2020, Amber was promoted to the Director of Case Management. Amber loves working with our patients and their families to find the most appropriate level of care for their needs, and supports their safe return into the community. Amber is also a therapist, working with children, adolescents, and adults with mental illness. Amber has previous experience working with people with developmental disabilities and forensic clients involved in the legal system. In her free time, she loves running and horseback riding.
